Partner In Care Community Services is seeking dedicated Support Workers to join our compassionate team of professionals in Townsville. We provide evidence-based, individualized care that puts choice and control back in the hands of our participants.

What You'll Do:

Provide one-on-one personal care and support to participants with various disabilities including Down syndrome, brain injury, stroke, diabetes, and dementia

Assist with in-home care, community access, and daily living activities

Support participants with specialized care including PEG feeding, diabetes management, and bowel care

Work collaboratively with healthcare teams, specialists, and families

Deliver culturally sensitive, person-centered support that promotes independence and inclusion

What We're Looking For:

Certificate III in Individual Support (essential)

Minimum of 2 years experience as a support worker

Genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Experience with manual handling and use of assistive equipment

Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, active nights and weekends

Current NDIS Worker Screening Check

Current WWC card

Current First Aid and CPR certificate

Reliable transport and valid driver's license
