About the role

This full-time Branch Assistant position is located at our Warrnambool, Victoria branch of Tradelink Plumbing Supplies. As a key member of our Warrnambool team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to our trade customers in the local area.

What you'll be doing

Assist customers in-store, over the phone and via digital channels to answer queries and locate required products

Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently

Receive, unload and stock incoming deliveries to maintain adequate inventory levels

Ability to perform heavy lifting of 20kg+ for warehouse duties

Maintain a clean, organised and well-presented store environment

Provide general administrative support to the branch manager as needed

Collaborate with the wider Tradelink team to deliver a seamless customer experience

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably in the building supplies or hardware industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Good computer literacy and numeracy skills

Forklift licence and/or experience operating warehouse equipment would be highly regarded

A positive, can-do attitude and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences
