Underground Diamond Driller

LH Partners is currently seeking experienced Underground Diamond Drillers on behalf of our client, a leading underground drilling services provider operating on major mining projects across Australia.

About the Opportunity:

The Role:

As an Underground Diamond Driller, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining underground diamond drill rigs, ensuring high-quality core samples while adhering to strict safety and operational protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate underground diamond drill rigs in line with company and site procedures
• Set up and align drilling equipment to designated specifications
• Monitor drilling parameters and adjust as required to optimize performance
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of drill rigs and equipment
• Collect, log, and handle core samples with precision and care
• Follow strict safety and environmental regulations, including hazard identification and risk assessments
• Work collaboratively with site geologists, supervisors, and crew members to meet drilling targets
• Maintain accurate drilling records and reports

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience as an Underground Diamond Driller
• Strong understanding of underground drilling operations and equipment
• Commitment to safety and adherence to mining regulations
• Ability to work in physically demanding environments and confined spaces
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Valid Australian driver’s licence and relevant mining certifications
