Consolidated Linen Services is a family-owned commercial laundry business with more than 300 employees, proudly supporting the resort, mining, and accommodation industries across Queensland. Our Cannonvale/Airlie Beach facility operates 16 hours a day, processing over 90 tonnes of linen each week. Safety, teamwork, and reliability are at the heart of everything we do.

The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Electrician / Electrical Fitter to join our small maintenance team. This is a varied role where you’ll help keep our plant running smoothly by carrying out repairs, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting across a range of equipment. You’ll also work closely with external contractors and, in time, may take on a leadership role within the team.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out electrical fault-finding, repairs, and maintenance on commercial and industrial laundry equipment.

Support a preventative maintenance program to reduce breakdowns and downtime.

Assist with PLC-controlled systems and ensure machinery is operating efficiently.

Work a 9:00 am to 5:00 pm shift, with regular Saturday overtime available.

Attend callouts if required to keep production running.

Collaborate with production teams to keep operations moving smoothly

What We’re Looking For

A trade qualification as an Electrician or Electrical Fitter or Mechanical Fitter.

Experience with commercial or industrial equipment maintenance desired but not essential.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and a “can-do” attitude.

Live locally (Airlie Beach/Cannonvale area) .

Good organisational skills and the potential to step into a leadership role.

Comfortable using workshop tools, welders, power tools, office equipment, and computer systems.
