We are seeking mining experienced Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitter's keen to gain underground mining experience to deliver high-quality preventative maintenance and repairs across our gold mining client's underground infrastructure.

About the Roles:

Reporting to the Fixed Plant Maintenance Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring plant and infrastructure are maintained to the highest standards, keeping safety and the environment front of mind while maximising asset performance.

Duties:

• Help hit targets by doing regular inspections, servicing, adjustments, troubleshooting and timely repairs on plant and underground gear.
• Service, repair and install underground dewatering and service water pumps
• Install, maintain, and repair underground pumps, pipelines, and associated mechanical systems
• Relocate underground pumps as development advances
• Maintain pipelines, valves and other associated infrastructure
• Demonstrated fault-finding and diagnostic experience on fixed plant equipment.
• Carry out routine inspections of machinery and fixed plant including preventative measures and condition reporting.

About you:

• Australian recognised mechanical trade qualification
• Valid WA manual C Class Drivers Licence
• Experienced working in gold/copper/nickel mining is desirable
• Previous experience in the maintenance of pumps
• Crane, Dogging, EWP and Forklift Tickets (desirable)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment mining medical
• Ability to attain a police clearance (12 months)
• Full Australian Working rights

• 8/6 days 7/7 nights FIFO - FIFO ex Perth or daily DIDO from Kalgoorlie
