The Role

Deliver high-quality 1:1 and small-group piano lessons from beginner to AMEB Grade 8

Design and implement individualised learning programs to suit students’ needs

Prepare students for AMEB exams, school scholarship auditions & recitals

Source and advise learning materials that are tailored to students’ interests and levels

Provide constructive feedback, clear progress notes and actionable home-practice plans

Coordinate with admin/CS team on scheduling, make-ups and parent updates

Teach theory/aural/General Knowledge classes or accompany other instruments

Maintain continuing professional development and build positive relationships with students and parents

About You (Essential)

•Tertiary music qualification or AMusA/LMusA (or equivalent)

•2+ years consistent piano teaching experience with young learners in a private-tutoring setting

•Proven teaching results and recital preparation experience

•Excellent classroom management & parent communication

•Current VIC Working with Children Check (Employee) and unrestricted AU work rights

•Reliability, professionalism, and strong lesson planning

Nice to have

•Ability to teach theory/aural or run ensemble/holiday intensives

•Experience accompanying strings/winds; Mandarin language skills a plus
