A Day in the Life of a Community Support Worker

Every day at Found in Friendship Care Services is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference.

You’ll empower participants by assisting with daily routines and supporting their independence through a person-centred approach. Tasks may include:

Meal preparation and household chores

Personal care

Accompanying participants to appointments, community activities, and shopping

Encouraging social connection and companionship

Keeping accurate records of activities and progress

Requirements

To join our team, you’ll need:

NDIS Worker Screening Check (current or willingness to obtain)

First Aid Certificate

Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

A positive attitude, strong values, and the ability to contribute positively to our team culture
