We’re seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Regional Director to lead a portfolio of high-profile event venues. In this strategic leadership role, you will drive revenue growth, maintain exceptional venue relationships, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding operational and client outcomes. You’ll be joining a business recognised as one of the most respected names in event technology, known for its innovation, reliability, and premium service delivery.
As Regional Director, you’ll manage venue partnerships, financial performance, operations, and people leadership across your region — while ensuring excellence in execution, stakeholder engagement, and long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a group of venues to deliver on business goals, profitability, and strategic priorities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with venue partners and key decision-makers.
Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and execute regional strategies across operations, training, and sales.
Oversee budgets, forecasts, reporting, and performance metrics to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Identify and pursue new venue opportunities and support contract renewals.
Ensure consistent, high-quality event delivery across all venues in your region.
Motivate, develop and manage high-performing teams; champion a positive culture and continuous improvement.
Uphold best practice in corporate governance, safety, and client service.
Report on key KPIs and performance trends, and implement improvement strategies as needed.
About You
Proven senior leadership experience across multi-site venue, event services or hospitality operations.
Strong commercial acumen — track record of delivering against revenue and profit targets.
Skilled in stakeholder management, business development, and contract negotiation.
Operationally excellent — understands logistics, cost efficiency, compliance, and risk.
People-focused — able to inspire, coach and lead diverse teams to achieve strategic and cultural goals.
Highly collaborative with a problem-solving mindset and an eye for growth opportunities.
Strong financial and data literacy — able to analyse performance and implement improvement plans.
Knowledge of AV or event technology industry highly regarded.
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Events, Management or related field preferred.
