Position Overview:

As a Storeperson at Terex Jaques, based in Dandenong South, you will play a pivotal role in providing support and service to all internal and external customers by delivering and allocating parts and various machine components to meet or exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

Pick and pack orders to meet customer and service requirements including coordinating between customers, freight companies, the service, and parts teams.

Receiving and dispatching stock, including quality inspections, and accurate recording of incoming and outgoing materials.

Perform periodic stocktakes with the parts team.

Maintaining an organised and easily navigated warehouse. Including the overall operations and continuous improvement efforts.

Assisting with documentation, such as purchase orders, supplier invoices, and transfer requests.

Operating of the company forklifts, including but not limited to loading and unloading of trucks, safe storage, and managing appropriate maintenance requests.

Adhere to the site safety standards, maintaining housekeeping standards to within 5S compliance.

Required Experience and Skills:

1-2 years of experience in warehouse or in a storeperson role

Forklift License – Licence to operate overhead cranes would be an advantage

Knowledge of warehouse procedures and processes

Excellent organisation skills and ability to prioritise

Computer literacy and good communication skills both verbally and written.

Excellent customer service skills & problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently, and within a team while following process and procedures.
