As a Junior Solicitor in our Commercial Litigation team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and high-profile cases. You will be responsible for assisting senior solicitors with legal research, drafting legal documents, attending court proceedings, and providing general support on client matters. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in commercial litigation while working alongside experienced professionals in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

Conducting legal research and analysis on various commercial litigation matters.

Drafting pleadings, applications, affidavits, and other legal documents.

Assisting in case preparation and strategy development.

Attending court hearings, mediations, and client meetings as required.

Providing administrative support to senior solicitors and partners.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from a recognised institution.

Admission as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Queensland.

Strong academic record with a focus on commercial law and litigation.

Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Previous experience or internship in commercial litigation is preferred but not required.
