What you'll be doing
Play a vital role in the Community Brain Injury Rehabilitation Service (CBIRS), supporting adults with moderate to severe brain injuries to achieve their rehabilitation goals in home and community settings.
Deliver specialised speech pathology services
Address complex communication & swallowing needs
Support clients & families with education & training
Collaborate in an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
Apply evidence-based, culturally sensitive practice

Essential Requirements:
Qualification: Degree in Speech Pathology
Registration: Eligibility for full practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia
Selection Criteria:
Recognised tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology and eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia
Evidence of significant graduate experience and advanced skills in the speech pathology management of clients and their families in one or more of the following client groups: brain injury, neurological disorders, rehabilitation
Evidence of effective skills working independently and as a member of a collaborative interdisciplinary team
Evidence of effective written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated use of an evidence-based approach to speech pathology practice
Demonstrated experience of working across a range of environments, preferably in clients’ homes and community settings
Evidence of engagement in continuing professional education and quality management activities
Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia
