We're seeking a dedicated and reliable Skip Truck Driver to join our team!

Responsibilities:

Safe Operation: Safely operate skip and hooklift trucks to transport scrap metal bins to and from various locations.

Loading and Unloading: Load and unload scrap metal bins using the skip and hooklift equipment, ensuring secure transport.

Timely Deliveries: Ensure timely and accurate deliveries and pickups according to the schedule.

Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment, reporting any issues promptly.

Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and relevant traffic laws.

Customer Service: Interact professionally with customers and team members, providing excellent service and addressing any concerns.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle maintenance.

Requirements:

Experience: Proven experience as a skip and hooklift driver, preferably in a scrap metal or similar industry.

Licenses: Valid HR driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks, in all weather conditions.

Skills: Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Reliability: Punctual and dependable with a strong work ethic.

Knowledge: Familiarity with local routes and locations.
