About the Role

We require; motivated, well presented, and positive “can-do” people to join the team at our group and to assist our busy team in a great working environment.

We are looking for an experienced person who has worked in the industry and has sound product knowledge of plumbing products.

The position gives an opportunity for someone to enjoy a stable employment position with job security, while working with a friendly, close-knit team. The role includes your own personal work station in an office environment with other sales team members who are here to support you.

Our sales position is very different from other sales roles that you might know of.

You primarily look after the existing customer base that we have within our business. Account maintenance is what we call it!! There is no door knocking and none of this awkward cold calling potential customers over the phone.

The good news is, it’s a wage based role and not a commission based role! This means, there is no pressure about making your wage each week. We don’t believe in people sweating throughout the week on whether they are going to make their wage or not.

Hours of work:

Monday – Friday 7:30am to 5:00pm

Saturday (every second) 8:00am to 12:00pm

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Providing exceptional customer service

Account maintenance

Build authentic relationships with customers

Sales order processing

Product quoting and special orders

Liaising with Suppliers

Delivery of warehouse Stock as required

Picking & Packing orders accurately & promptly

Stock re-ordering

Occasional general warehouse duties

Some heavy lifting and manual lifting

About the Successful Applicant

Physically capable and fit for the role

Able to follow instructions and work unsupervised

Ability to work in a team environment

High customer service standards

Highly motivated with a “can do” attitude

Punctual and reliable

Keen eye for detail

Have safety as a focus during work

Well presented and courteous manner

Excellent work ethic

Basic computer skills (previous experience with PROSTIX will be highly regarded but not essential)

Full Australian driver’s licence mandatory (ability to drive a manual)
