We are looking for an experienced Cybersecurity Systems Engineer to help maintain the reliability, security, and performance of internal IT systems. This role suits someone who is equally comfortable managing enterprise infrastructure, strengthening cyber defences, and mentoring junior staff.
About the Role
As part of a high-performing technology team, you’ll take ownership of enterprise systems and security operations. You’ll act as a senior escalation point, lead improvement initiatives, and play a key role in delivering secure, resilient, and user-friendly technology experiences.
Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimise enterprise systems including servers, endpoints, and identity platforms
• Implement and maintain security controls such as MFA, endpoint protection, and access policies
• Monitor infrastructure for risks, anomalies, and compliance issues
• Contribute to incident response, disaster recovery, and risk assessments
• Provide mentorship and act as a technical escalation point for junior team members
• Lead or support IT and security projects such as SaaS rollouts and new tooling
• Maintain accurate documentation of processes, configurations, and incidents
• Deliver tier-3 support and communicate effectively with stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years’ experience in systems administration, IT operations, or cybersecurity
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, identity platforms, and endpoint management
• Hands-on experience with security technologies such as EDR, MDM, and SIEM
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001 or Essential Eight
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills

Desirable Skills

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or cloud security qualifications
• Experience with scripting and automation (PowerShell, Python, etc.)
• Knowledge of zero trust and modern security architectures
• Experience working in regulated or compliance-heavy environments
