You’ll be joining a modern, expanding healthcare service that supports thousands of patients each year, including more than 1,600 births. The Women’s Ward and Birthing Suite features 6 birthing suites and 18 antenatal/postnatal beds, offering a supportive environment where learning and professional development are actively encouraged.

Your Role as a Registered Midwife & Nurse

Provide safe, evidence-based, family-centred care in line with NMBA standards

Deliver high-quality nursing and midwifery care across maternity, gynaecology, and general nursing patients

Support and mentor junior colleagues, student midwives, and Assistants in Nursing (AINs)

Collaborate with obstetricians, nurses, paediatricians, anaesthetists, and allied health professionals

Deliver antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care while promoting breastfeeding and women’s health initiatives

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes

What You’ll Need

AHPRA registration as both a Registered Midwife and a Registered Nurse

Recent clinical experience in maternity services, including birthing suite and acute care settings

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a family-focused approach

Commitment to professional development and ongoing learning

Full COVID-19 vaccination
