Specialist Tradesman - Plumber & Gas Fitter

Randstad is seeking skilled and dedicated Specialist Tradesmen for exciting opportunities with leading plumbing companies based in the Launceston area. We are looking for motivated professionals who are committed to producing a high standard of work and providing exceptional customer service.

About the Role(s)

As a key member of a professional team, you will be responsible for a diverse range of plumbing and gas fitting tasks. These roles require the ability to work both collaboratively and autonomously to achieve excellent results.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general plumbing and specialist gas fitting work in compliance with all relevant Australian standards and regulations.

Conduct site visits and inspections to gather information for quoting purposes.

Meet with clients to discuss job requirements and address their concerns.

Train, develop, and supervise apprentices and other team members as required.

Complete all job documentation accurately using digital job management systems.

Uphold and demonstrate a strong understanding of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) requirements.

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be a successful candidate, you will be a motivated professional with the following:

Essential Qualification: Certificate IV in Plumbing with a Gas Certifier endorsement.

Technical Knowledge: A sound understanding of current plumbing standards and regulatory requirements.

Attention to Detail: A strong commitment to producing work of a high quality.

Communication: High-level interpersonal skills for liaising effectively with managers, colleagues, and clients.

Organisation: Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Teamwork: A willingness to contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
