The Firm:

A local firm is seeking an Intermediate or Senior Accountant to bolster their Business Services and Tax team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone with 2+ years of experience within an Australian accounting firm to fast track their career progression.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage with a diverse portfolio of clients

Preparations of IAS, BAS and FBT returns

Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns, Div 7A, CGT and FBT calculations

Advisory services (if senior)

Liaison with the ATO

Take ownership of client portfolios, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of services.

A passion for providing exceptional client service and building long-lasting relationships.

Requirements:

2+ years of hands-on experience within an Australian accounting firm.

CA/CPA qualifications or currently completing.

Proven experience working across a variety of industries

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
