Job Description
The IaaS Product team (Infrastructure as a Service) delivers secure, highly available Linux infrastructure alongside teams providing Windows, VMware, Cloud IaaS and PaaS, Server and Storage.

Solve problems and learn something every day with a collaborative team that support each other.

Ability to troubleshoot and work within a team of 6 engineers.

Opportunity of partaking in training courses to uplift your technical skills.

About you
You will be an experienced, versatile, motivated IT professional with relevant qualifications and a strong background in Linux server management and programming.

Demonstrated technical leadership, a desire to learn and explore, analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, as is the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of clients in written and oral form. You will enjoy working and leading in a team-oriented environment, actively leading and engaging in sharing ideas, solutions and expertise.

Qualifications

Redhat Enterprise Linux and associated support tools and technologies or displayed experience.

Orchestration of deployment and configuration by code (e.g. Ansible, DevOps, Terraform or similar)

Programming and development skills highly valued. The team uses a mixture of Golang and Python.

Programming and scripting skills applied to automation and solution development

Experience in design and administration of Kubernetes environments

Experience delivering in cloud

Proficient at architecting and communicating solutions to a team of technical staff.

Experience working in an agile methodology and culture

What we can offer
This is a continuing opportunity based at Brisbane South (Nathan). As Griffith is a multi-site University you may be required to work across other locations.

HEW 8 base salary range $113,713 - $127,923 per annum + 17% superannuation. Total FTE salary range $133,044 - $149,670.
