Adecco are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Solar Electrician / Team Leader to join the team. This role combines hands-on installation work with leadership responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who is technically skilled and ready to guide and mentor others.
You’ll oversee and deliver solar PV and battery storage installations while ensuring compliance with Australian standards and industry best practices. You’ll also play an important role in leading apprentices and trade assistants, providing technical guidance, and delivering outstanding customer service on every project.

Responsibilities
Install, commission, and maintain residential and commercial solar PV and battery systems
Lead, manage, and mentor apprentices and trade assistants
Configure Wi-Fi monitoring systems and ensure connectivity
Diagnose, service, and troubleshoot solar and battery systems
Ensure compliance with all industry standards, regulations, and WHS requirements
Provide support to in-house technical support and sales teams when required
Represent the company professionally and deliver excellent customer service
Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) Design & Installation Accreditation – essential
Class A Unrestricted Electrical Supervisor Licence – essential
Working at Heights and First Aid certifications – essential
Current Class C driver’s licence – essential
Elevated Work Platform (EWP) licence – desirable
Battery (on-grid) installation accreditation – highly regarded (or willingness to obtain)
Strong technical knowledge of solar PV and battery installation, commissioning, and servicing
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience installing, diagnosing, and maintaining residential solar and battery systems
Previous leadership or team supervision experience (highly regarded)
Excellent problem-solving skills with adaptability in a dynamic environment
Strong organisational and time management abilities
Customer-focused approach with outstanding communication skills
