Step in to reduce the Principal bottleneck, review reports, liaise with clients, and keep projects moving.

As a Principal Environmental Scientist / Project Director in Contaminated Sites, you’ll join a large multidisciplinary Perth office and take on some of the most complex and high-profile remediation projects in the country. The team is already delivering for Defence, Resources, Energy and Oil & Gas clients but they need another senior operator to ease the pressure at the top.

The Role

You’ll partner with the existing Principal to review technical outputs, direct projects, and interface with clients. The focus is on major, complex programs of work where quality and momentum are paramount.

Technical review of PSI/DSI and remediation reports.

Direct large, multi-stakeholder projects.

Client liaison across Defence, Resources, Oil & Gas, and Energy.

Mentor and support the team of 10 consultants.

Act as SQP on major remediation works.

Ensure projects keep pace and maintain quality standards.

Who You’ll Work With

This is a 100+ person multidisciplinary office spanning sciences and engineering. The CLM team is a strong group of 10 led by a Principal who has built a collegiate, quality-focused culture. With only one Principal currently in place, this role is essential to remove bottlenecks and maintain project momentum.

What You’ll Bring

12+ years in contaminated sites consulting with proven delivery at Principal level.

Strong technical reporting and review capability.

Confidence liaising with clients and steering large projects.

SQP accreditation (or eligibility) valued.

A pragmatic, collaborative approach - no ego, just solid delivery.
