This role will require you to be responsible for performing a broad range of simple to complex investigations consistently and accurately, verification and validation of results and maintaining competence in all aspects of the laboratory.
Key competencies (role specific criteria)
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
Knowledge of chemical pathology testing and its role in clinical medicine.
- Knowledge, skills and expertise in analytical methods relevant to chemical pathology.
- Knowledge, skills and expertise in the validation and clinical interpretation of results in chemical pathology and its diagnostic, therapeutic and monitoring role in disease and health.
- The ability to work independently and in a team and demonstrate initiative in problem solving using innovative solutions in the delivery of a high-quality testing service.
Qualifications, registrations and other requirements
- The successful applicant must hold a relevant degree Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent qualification from a recognised university or tertiary institution.
