About the Role

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Install, maintain and or repair electrical systems and equipment in the residential, commercial and light industrial sectors working either as part of a team or independently

Interpret and work from electrical plans, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings

Conduct routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations

Diagnose electrical faults and carry out effective, timely repairs

Ensure all work is completed to Australian electrical standards and company quality requirements

Collaborate with other trades and team members to ensure smooth project delivery and enhance project efficiency and excellence

Utilizing job management software to log work, maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used and time spent on tasks.

Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe / clean work environment

Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner at all times

Stay up to date with industry developments, products, and best practices

Skills and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a qualified electrician with a minimum of 5-10 years experience. You need to hold a current South Australian Electrical License and have a current Australian Work Visa/Residency/Citizenship. You will also need the following:

Valid Driver’s License

Experience working in both commercial and domestic environments

White Card (OHS Construction Card)

EWP (Yellow Card) – preferred but not mandatory

Police Clearance

Working with Children Check

Solar experience and or working towards accreditation (desirable)
