Road Maintenance Worker + HR

$40.57 hourly + Penalties

Monday - Friday + On call as required

About Our Client

Our client delivers road network solutions utilizing industry-leading research, development and innovation, asset management tools.

What You Will Be Doing

General road repairs – patching potholes, repairing road surfaces, sealing cracks, and resurfacing works.

Operating plant and machinery – such as rollers, loaders, compactors, and other equipment used in road construction and maintenance.

Drainage and shoulder work – clearing debris, grading shoulders, and maintaining roadside drains and culverts.

Vegetation control – slashing, mowing, and removing overhanging branches or vegetation from road verges.

Asphalt and bitumen works – assisting with laying and spreading asphalt/bitumen and other road surfacing materials.

Operating heavy vehicles – driving HR trucks, water carts, tippers, and other heavy road maintenance vehicles.

Emergency response – attending to road hazards, fallen trees, storm damage, and spill clean-ups.

What You Will Need

HR Licence

Experience in civil construction

Machine operating tickets is highly desired

Attention to detail with a focus on quality and safety.

Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
