Forklift Driver – Steel Bay

Mills Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our client’s busy manufacturing operation based in South Perth. Our client specialises in modular building projects and is looking for a reliable and safety-conscious team member to support their steel bay operations.

About the Role:

• Operating a forklift to move pallets of sheet metal and large steel components across the factory
• Assisting with loading/unloading and general yard duties
• Working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and clear communication are essential
• Shift: 5:00 am – 1:00 pm, Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)
• $31.18 per hour
• Casual to permanent opportunity – move to permanent employment after 3 months

What You’ll Need:

• A valid forklift licence (LF)
• Experience working with steel components is highly regarded
• Ability to work safely and efficiently in a manufacturing environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to read and write
• A proactive, team-focused attitude
