Anatpath is a privately owned histopathology laboratory, who is looking for a permanent, full-time laboratory assistant to join our efficient and friendly team. The successful applicant must be highly motivated, have an excellent attention to detail, effective problem-solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, be a team player with proven ability to work cooperatively with other staff and possess the ability to work under the direction from senior staff as well as be confident enough to work independently. No prior laboratory experience is required, however an interest in histology would be advantageous. Full training will be provided for the right candidate. Australian citizenship, permanent residency or valid work visa would be required.

The position would be a permanent, full-time role, Monday – Friday starting at 6:30am.

Duties would include but are not limited to.

· Collating and handing out H&E slides to pathologists

· Assisting scientists with general laboratory duties
