About the Role

My client is a well-established accounting fim located in modern offices in the central business district of Toowoomba.

Their graduate program takes individuals who have either completed their Bachelor Degree in Commerce or Business with an Accounting major, or who are very close to graduating, through a 12 month in-house training program aimed at developing your ability to practically apply your knowledge in real world situations.

In addition to their in-house training programs, their graduates are supported through their CPA or CA studies, with paid study breaks and financial reimbursement for any subjects you successfully complete while in their graduate role with the firm.

What your day-to-day looks like:

Training in compliance and tax accounting through the preparation of financial statements and tax returns for small businesses

Exposure to Division 7a, FBT, GST and other technical tax areas

Working autonomously with support of senior staff members who are there to set you up for success.

About You

The position is open to:

Candidates with a Bachelor Degree in Commerce or Business, with an Accounting major, or be close to graduating.

Candidates with previous experience in public practice would be an advantage but is not essential.

In this position you will work closely with and learn from highly experienced professionals and gain experience supporting a variety of clients from different industries.

Their preference would be for full time hours, however will consider candidates looking for part time work while they finish their degree.
