Our client is seeking an experienced LR Drivers for multi-drop deliveries in South Melbourne who have a strong focus on customer service.

The Role

The duties and responsibilities of this position are the primary accountabilities of the driver to provide efficient and prompt service to customers:

• Provide high standard of customer service
• Must have current LR driver licence
• Require manual handling loading and unloading of materials.
• Maintaining a healthy and sustainable working relationship with customers, suppliers and work colleagues
• Work Collaboratively with sales, administration and management to meet company objectives
• Ensure all paperwork match the goods delivered and goods received
• Any damaged goods loaded must be recorded and reported for immediate resolution
• Check that all goods provided to customer are in good quality and meets customer Specifications
• Check all goods pick up from supplier are of good quality and correct quantity, tally with paperwork provided
• Load stock carefully on customer's site, in accordance to their safety and site requirements minimising any damage
• Communicate clearly, professionally and respectfully to customers and staff at all time
• Perform quality checks and maintain, cleanliest of the truck as determined by policy and procedure
• Assist with load planning for the deliveries
• Forklift licence will be helpful (not necessary)
• Check and secure load every delivery before allowing our truck departing the warehouse
• Assist warehouse loading and unloading of material.
• Ensure all deliveries and pick-ups are met within scheduled times
• Adhere to the rules of the road

You must be well-mannered, quick on your feet, and willing to get the job done.

Start times: 6am-3pm Mon- Fri

Immediate Start

The successful candidate will possess the following:

• LR license
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work to a schedule.
• Be physically fit.
• Forklift Licence preferred.
