RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide comprehensive assessments to children (0-18 years) experiencing communication disorders using appropriate assessment tools.

Develop measurable and achievable goals in collaboration with families for intervention

Provide appropriate speech pathology intervention to children in clinic-based, preschool/school-based and home-based settings

Provide education and information to parents/carers and others involved in the child’s care regarding communication development and disorders and therapy approaches.

Manage a clinical caseload independently with a high standard to clinical practice

Ensure client records are complete and up to date and confidentiality is maintained

Participate in developing and conducting educational workshops to community groups
