About the Opportunity:
Altrad is seeking S26 Compliant Painting Supervisors ready to take the next step into a leadership role. With ad-hoc shutdown projects kicking off immediately, this is your opportunity to step up as a Painting Supervisor and make your mark.
This role is FIFO from Perth only. You will be working with a major mining client across the Pilbara region, leading scaffold crews, ensuring safe and efficient project delivery, and supporting a high-performing workforce on site.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
Lead Pre-Starts & Toolbox Talks - Drive daily pre-starts, setting clear expectations and motivating the crew to work safely and efficiently.
Attend Critical Path Meetings - Represent Coatings in key planning and coordination meetings, ensuring smooth workflow with other site activities.
Client & Management Liaison - Act as Altrad’s on-site representative—maintain strong client relationships and deliver clear progress updates to senior management.
Disciplinary & Performance Oversight - Manage workforce conduct, addressing issues promptly and ensuring team members meet Altrad’s performance standards.
Uphold Safety Standards & Procedures - Ensure all scaffold work is carried out to Altrad’s safety protocols, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Support Workforce Development - Mentor and guide paint and blast crews looking to advance their skills, fostering a positive team culture and encouraging career progression.
About you:
Perth-based and open to working on an ad-hoc shutdown roster, with a steady pipeline of upcoming projects.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Painting/Coatings Supervision role, ideally within mining, energy, or construction environments.
Must Hold a valid Section 26 High-Risk Work Licence (Painting Supervision).
MSIC card (desirable, but not essential).
Strong communicator who can motivate, influence, and drive team performance.
Proven leadership with solid mentoring and people management skills.
Able to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen as per project requirements.
