The role
Are you an experienced Interstate Truck Driver with a Multi-Combination (MC) license?
Various Locations Available - Wagga - Melbourne - Sydney - Brisbane - Adelaide, you must have base in one of these cities.
Join the team at Ron Crouch Transport as an Interstate Driver and take on a pivotal role in our reliable and growing road transport operations across Australia. This full-time position is based in our Laverton, VIC location but we are open to other big city locations as well.
What you'll be doing
End to end load-restraint, hooking and unhooking trailers.
Safely operate a range of heavy vehicles including semi-trailers and B-doubles to transport goods interstate
Adhere to all road rules, OH&S and fatigue management regulations
Maintain accurate vehicle logs and documentation
Effectively communicate with the operations team to ensure timely and efficient deliveries
Undertake routine vehicle inspections and minor maintenance as required
Provide exceptional customer service and liaise with clients as needed
What we're looking for
Minimum 2 years' experience as a heavy vehicle interstate truck driver
MC (Multipurpose Combination) driver's license
Basic fatigue management accreditation
Dangerous Goods License (Desirable)
Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road rules and safe driving practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet tight deadlines
Strong communication and customer service skills
Commitment to workplace health and safety
