Dobson Family Care is seeking an experienced Rostering Officer to join our team in Murgon, Queensland. As a Rostering Officer, you will be responsible for creating and mananging rosters for our team of Disability support workers, ensuring efficient staffing to meet the needs of our clients.
What you'll be doing
Develop and maintain rosters for our team of support workers, taking into account client needs, worker availability, and skill sets
Communication with support workers to confirm shift assignments and address any scheduling conflicts or changes
Monitor shift coverage and make adjustments as needed to ensure all client needs are met
Manage and maintain rostering templates
Collaborate with the operations team to identify staffing requirements and plan for future client needs
Maintain accurate records of staff availability, leave and attendance
Provide support and guidance to workers on scheduling and rostering policies and procedures
What we're looking for
Proven experience in a NDIS rostering or scheduling role, preferably in the disability support or aged care sector
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure
Proficent in using rostering or scheduling software (Shiftcare) and spreadsheet application
Understanding of relevant industry regulations and award conditions (SCHADS & NDIS)
Commitment to providing high-quality care and support to our clients
Key Responsibilities:
Rostering under the SCHADS Award
Experience with NDIS rostering is essential
Communicating roster changes with the Support Team
Ensuring financial alignment with organisational goals
Ability to manage mulitple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Procactively identify and resolve issues related to staffing and scheduling, making informed decisions to meet business objectivies
Ensure sufficient staff arre available for all shifts, taking into account individual availabilty, skills and qualifications.
