COMPANY

This represents a rare opportunity to join a leading firm based in Tamworth. This firm has excellent ties to the local community. This firm is very proud of their modern tech stack.

POSITION

Due to growth the position of Intermediate Accountant has been created within the Business Services Team.

This role will involve the following:

  • Preparation of tax returns and financials for a variety of SME clients
  • Div 7A, CGT, FBT matters
  • Direct Client Contact

CANDIDATE

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • CA/CPA commenced or intention to commence
  • Ideally degree qualified
  • Ideally 2+ years experience within Australian Public Practice but also open to commercial accounting experience and general finance experience (eg banking)
  • A passion to build a career within an accounting firm
  • Experience with primary production clients would be highly desirable or a connection to the primary production sector
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills (non negotiable)
  • An excellent work ethic, attitude and willingness to learn
