Proven Energy is an innovative renewable energy company specialising in solar panel installations, battery storage, and electric vehicle charging solutions. We’d describe our business as a retail-facing construction style company with electricians, apprentices, sales team and admin making up our team of 20+.

We are different to most trade-based construction businesses in that our products are exciting, fast-moving and always evolving. Our entire industry advances quicker than regulation can keep up with and so we are constantly learning and adapting.

Proven Energy is at an exciting stage of expansion, recently opening a new office located on the Sunshine Coast and we are looking for talented, passionate staff to help us bring quality renewables to more Queenslanders.

About the Role

We’re looking for a confident and motivated Solar Sales Representative to join our team. This isn’t about pushing the cheapest system or ticking boxes. Your focus will be on listening to customers, explaining their options clearly, and helping them choose a solution that delivers long-term value and support.

The role includes following up qualified leads from word of mouth and paid channels, sourcing your own opportunities, and representing Proven Energy at community events and trade shows. You’ll work closely with the wider sales and admin teams while still managing your own pipeline with autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

Meet with residential and commercial customers to understand their energy needs.

Provide clear, tailored solar and battery solutions (training provided).

Prepare and follow up quotes while managing your own pipeline.

Source new opportunities and represent Proven Energy at events and trade shows.

Work with admin and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery.

Support customers throughout the process to ensure a positive experience and meet KPIs.

About You

You’re a strong communicator who can explain things simply and make customers feel confident in their decisions. You’re proactive, organised, and motivated to deliver results while maintaining a customer-first approach.

We’re looking for:

Sales or account management experience (solar/renewables/electrical is a bonus, not essential).

Strong organisational and follow-up skills.

Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Confidence representing a business at events and building community connections.

Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot a bonus).

Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel within the Sunshine Coast and the surrounding region.
