About the role

Join Bb Decking' as a full-time Carpenter based in Brisbane, QLD 4000. In this key role, you will be part of a team responsible for constructing and installing high-quality decking, fencing, retaining walls and other wood-based structures for residential and commercial clients. With a focus on excellence, attention to detail and exceptional workmanship, you will play a vital part in delivering the company's commitment to outstanding craftsmanship.

What you'll be doing

• Measuring, cutting and assembling timber and other materials to build decking, fencing and other wood-based/material structures
• Installing decking, fencing and other wood-based/material structures in line with client requirements and industry best practices
• Collaborating with the team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standard
• Maintaining tools and equipment to ensure safe and efficient work practices
• Providing exceptional customer service and liaising with clients throughout projects
• Adhering to all health and safety protocols to create a safe working environment

What we're looking for

• Formal qualification in Carpentry or a related building trade
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Carpenter, with a demonstrated track record of delivering high-quality work
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in workmanship
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Competent in the use of power tools and other carpentry equipment
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations and safety requirements
