Project Engineer

Our client is a long-established Southwest based manufacturer of various timber products. As a result of this ongoing growth, they are seeking to add a Project Engineer to their team. The plant combines multiple fixed plant machinery such as conveyors, belts and other materials handling and cutting equipment.

This role will be based in a town in the Southwest region of Western Australia, Bunbury. Approximately 180kms south of Perth and only 15kms southeast of Bunbury, it's known for its agricultural history, wineries, microbreweries, and proximity (15 - 20 minutes) to port city, Bunbury.

What will this position entail?

• Managing engineering projects from conception to commissioning.
• Ensure quality, budget and scheduling compliance.
• Coordinating resources and technical aspects.
• Employ manufacturing techniques on automated equipment both mechanical and electrical.
• Using design programs and previous experience with design to help in the process.

How can I be successful?

• Engineering degree.
• 5 years + experience within manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
• Strong project management and key machine skills.
• Experience with various design software.
• Full Australian working rights and valid current driver's licence.
