At Empowering Brighter Futures Pty Ltd, we provide individualised and tailored Employment Support to NDIS Participants across Victoria.

Our comprehensive support focuses on various aspects of employment, including but not limited to delivery of Employability Skills Training, organising work trials and sourcing paid employment.

The Job

This full time position is a hybrid role with a combination of working from our office in Carrum Downs VIC and mobile position working across Bayside, Peninsula, South East, North East and Western Melbourne. You will be travelling to our participants to deliver one-on-one employment support within their local community.

Empowering Brighter Futures delivers highly individualised employment supports to NDIS Participants. You will be motivating, mentoring and supporting personal growth, helping participants to develop employability skills and tailoring supports to their individual needs.

Provide hands on & highly consultative support to a caseload of participants

Provide mentorship, encourage skills development and increase participants capacity for work

Deliver person centred supports to participants including but not limited to participants transitioning from school to work

Marketing participants to employers in their chosen field, negotiating employment terms to suit your participants individual employment needs.

Provide on-site support once employment has commenced and assist with integration

Provide ongoing support to both the participant and their employer for as long as needed, including but not limited to on the job support

Qualifications & Requirements

We welcome those from various backgrounds, including Employment Services, Youth Services, NDIS, Community Services and Training. You are a resilient and creative problem solver and love working in a collaborative environment where you can make an impact and genuinely help people with disabilities on their path to employment.

Experience working with people with disabilities is highly regarded but not essential

Eligibility to work in Australia

A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle

Have current First Aid and CPR certificate

Willing to complete a Criminal History Check

Able to pass a Working with Children Check

Able to pass a NDIS Worker Screening Check

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn case management systems

Ability to build professional relationships with a wide variety of people

Understanding of NDIS framework and employment supports preferred (training provided)

Ability toTravel as required for service delivery and support of participants across Bayside, Peninsula, South East, North East and Western Melbourne .

Minimum 1-2 years experience in employment services, disability support, or community services
