Rostering/Allocations Consultant
Full Time: 40 hours (Mon – Fri)
$70,000 depending on experience. Plus Superannuation.

Established in Sydney, Global Disability and Health Care Services has been providing quality Support Workers for 20 years to Public and Private Hospitals, State Government, Non-Government Organisations and Private care.
Position Purpose
The Rostering Consultant will maintain and develop relationships with our clients and candidates and to endeavour to grow business whilst servicing and managing existing clientele.
Position Description
Main responsibilities include the following:
Managing the available shifts for adhoc and rostering of candidates - Entering of adhoc or roster shift requests
Monitor shifts and rosters email and respond to designated sender
Booking and filling ongoing rosters weekly
Enter self-booked shifts of candidates on Venus daily and ensure candidates are informed to communicate all self-booked shifts
Booking and filling shifts over the weekend before leaving Friday afternoon
Administration skills are essential.
Management of candidates in regards to shifts and employment – weekly follow ups with candidates to build rapports
Managing candidate hours to abide by Work Health and Safety guidelines
Update candidate information on Venus database
Implement control procedures (e.g. incident reports) when issues occur for documentation and management
Communications between candidates, clients and office staff in regards to shift confirmation, post shifts and any other relevant information to be passed on
Handle complaints and issues that may arise with allocated candidates. If escalated to inform it to the Manager
Management of complaints or issues that may arise
Filling priority shifts on the Bookings ratings screen
Comply to procedures for 6am office start and / or 6:30pm closing
Liaise with facility team leader for inductions of new candidates with facilities
Ability to interact with External and Internal clients professionally
Customer service center experience welcomed
Experience in coordination and administration support
Experience in a similar position and background in recruitment preferred
A high level of motivation and drive to support and coordinate a wider team
Strong written skills for the creation of plans, reports, correspondence and other documents
Demonstrated time management and problem-solving skills
Ability to think creatively and use initiative to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Attention to detail
Demonstrate a can-do attitude
