The Role:

You will be responsible for providing psychological assessment, intervention, and support to NDIS participants, empowering them to achieve their goals and enhance their well-being. This role offers the flexibility of both in-office and telehealth sessions, allowing for a diverse and impactful practice. We understand the importance of work-life balance and offer flexible hours, including the option for later starts and later finishes.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to inform therapeutic interventions.

Develop and implement individualized therapeutic plans tailored to NDIS participants' needs.

Provide evidence-based psychological interventions, including individual and group therapy.

Maintain accurate and timely client records and documentation.

Collaborate effectively with NDIS participants, their families, support coordinators, and other stakeholders.

Participate in supervision (for Provisional Psychologists) and ongoing professional development.

Access to flexible supervision arrangements with either internal or external supervisors available for Provisional Psychologists.

Essential Criteria:

Registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist or Provisional Psychologist.

Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report writing skills.

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.

Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice and client-centered care.

Australian citizenship or permanent residency required for this position.

Highly Desired (Preference Given To):

Experience with Trauma-Informed Therapy.

Experience or understanding of Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA).

A strong commitment to and understanding of Neuro Affirming practices.

Strong understanding of the NDIS framework and experience working with NDIS participants.
