Live-In Carer / Personal Care Worker – Support for Young Family

We are seeking a caring and reliable Live-In Carer / Personal Care Worker to join a young family in their home. This role is ideal for someone who is committed, flexible, and ready to become part of a supportive household environment.

Role Responsibilities

Daily attendance required:

Early mornings (from 6am), 5 days per week

Afternoon swing shifts, 5 days per week

One weekend Per month / on call for emergencies when required

Assist with children’s routines and provide sibling support

Complete light domestic duties (meals, cleaning, household upkeep)

Provide personal and family support as needed

Essential Requirements

Current Blue Card (Child Safety)

Current Worker Screening Card

Driver’s Licence and own transport

Flexibility and commitment to a live-in arrangement

Willingness to support with both personal care and household duties

Desirable

Qualifications in Disability Support and/or Childcare

Previous experience as a Disability Support Worker or Personal Care Worker

Strong understanding of family routines and child safety
