Opening in 2020, Goldie’s Dress Hire is Newcastle’s leading luxury dress hire boutique. Stocking over 1000+ designer dresses from 4-20, we are in the business of helping women look and feel their best for life’s most memorable moments at a fraction of the retail cost.

From school formals and weddings to galas and birthdays, we pride ourselves on our curated collection, exceptional service, and vibrant in-store experience.

The Roles

We are growing and have a range of opportunities available — from casual weekend stylists to full-time team members who want to build a career in fashion retail.

Depending on the role, your responsibilities may include:

Styling clients for events and providing personalised recommendations from our curated collection

Managing bookings, try-ons, and returns

Ensuring garments are cared for, steamed, and presented beautifully

Processing payments and using our booking system

Contributing to content creation (in-store photos, social media support)

Assisting with stock management and daily store operations

For casual roles, supporting the Store Manager with appointments and order collections as well as styling clients for events.

What We’re Looking For

Someone with a genuine passion for fashion, styling, and creating a personalised customer experience

Friendly, confident, and professional communication skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment, especially during peak hours

Strong attention to detail and garment care

Reliability and flexibility (especially evenings/weekends)

2+ years of retail, fashion, e-commerce or customer service experience desired

Hours & Availability

Casual roles: Wednesday-Saturday availability

Part-time roles: Regular rostered hours (must be able to work 1-2 Saturday's a month)

Full-time roles: Career opportunity for someone passionate about fashion retail and leadership (must be able to work 1-2 Saturday's a month)
