Applications are invited from persons interested in working at the Collie Mineworkers Memorial Swimming Pool. The following roles are available on a non-continuing casual basis;

Duty Supervisor (Pool Operations / Aquatic Technical Operator qualification required)

Pool Lifeguard (Pool Lifeguard qualification required)

Aqua Instructor (Aqua Fitness Instruction qualification required)

To succeed in this role, you should ideally hold a combination of the following, dependant on the position applying for.

Hold a Pool Operations qualification.

Hold a current Pool Lifeguard qualification.

Aqua Fitness Instruction qualification

Chlorine/Gas certificate.

Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) certificate.

Hold a current Working with Children (WWCC) certificate.

A National/Federal Police Clearance no more than 6 months old (new employees).

Hold a current Senior First Aid certificate.

Current national “C” class driver’s licence (desirable).

An attractive base hourly rate of between $34.78 to $42.86, will be offered based on skills and experience.
