Wescott Industrial Services are looking for 1st class sheet metal workers experienced in industrial sheet metal fabrication and lagging.

Wescott Industrial Services Australia are a traditional industrial fabric maintenance services company. We offer turn key services to the petro-chemical, oil and gas industry with multi-disciplined rope access teams offering structural and mechanical remediation, insulation and cladding, passive fireproofing and specialist coatings.

Wescott has an immediate opportunity available for suitably qualified and experienced Sheet Metal Workers with lagging experience (industrial insulation). Combination of site and workshop.

Positions available for Full time, Part Time or Casual

Majority of work based in Melbourne (west)

Monday – Friday with some weekend shifts when required

Above EBA rates plus Allowances

Mixture of site and workshop work

DIDO

Please note: Boilermaker/Welders need not apply, we are seeking 1st Class Sheetmetal workers only.

The following skills and attributes required:

1st Class Sheetmetal Worker

2nd Class Sheetmetal workers will be considered pending experience

Relevant industry experience in the removal and replacement of insulation and sheet metal work

Cladding of pipework and vessels

Experience with hot and cold insulation

Ability to work from plans & drawings

A positive attitude with strong work ethic

Can work unsupervised

High attention to detail and safety

Current Working at Heights an advantage or training provided

Current Confined Space Entry an advantage or training provided

Current EWP license would be an advantage or training provided

Construction Industry White Card is mandatory

Valid driver’s license
