JOINERY INSTALLER
Are you a qualified shop-fitter, cabinet maker or shipwright?
Or are you a 3rd or 4th year apprentice in those fields?
Or a labourer with experience in woodwork and finishes who's keen to learn more?
If you have experience in assembling CNC cut cabinetry and installing cabinet components; plus a sound knowledge of operating all tools and machinery associated with woodworking, then we want to hear from you!
ABOUT US
Based in the beautiful coastal town of Coolum Beach on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast, Cure Marine is an established boat manufacturer who design and build high-performance, blue-water multihull yachts.
As one of Australia’s leading advanced composite boat builders, we pride ourselves on quality, innovation, and craftsmanship.
We believe our people are at the core of our success. That’s why we foster a friendly, supportive workplace culture — from monthly staff BBQs and team catch-ups to training and career development opportunities — all balanced with a 9-day fortnight roster that supports a great work-life balance.
ABOUT THE ROLE
You’ll be joining our Cabinetry Fit-Out Team who assemble and install the interiors of our high-performance multihulls in a factory setting.
Day-to-day duties include:
Operating woodworking tools and machinery, including CNC machines, panel saws, edgebanders, power saws, joinery machines & hand tools
Assembly of CNC cut cabinetry
Installation of cabinet components
Application of laminates, films & wraps
You’ll work alongside skilled tradespeople who take pride in their craft — a great opportunity to build your skills while contributing the production of a product that stands out on the global stage.
ABOUT YOU
You’re a hands-on, enthusiastic individual who is passionate about quality and thrives on delivering exceptional results. You’ll have experience in both assembly and installation, but training on specialist materials (such as foam) will be provided. Along with your strong technical skills and meticulous attention to detail, you’ll enjoy pitching in, sharing ideas and building great relationships that make our production team a supportive, positive and fun place to work.
Preferred skills & attributes:
Previous experience operating CNC machines highly regarded
Previous experience in tools paths and programming highly regarded
Ability to interpret technical drawings
Good mechanical aptitude and an eye for detail
Willingness to learn and a positive “can-do” attitude
Pride in completing all work to a high standard
Forklift licence a bonus
Bring your can-do attitude and sense of humour and you’ll fit right in — we’re a down-to-earth crew who value team spirit as much as craftsmanship.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU
At Cure Marine, we value our people as much as the yachts we create. By joining our team, you’ll enjoy:

Job Security – A full-time position with many years of exciting new builds already scheduled
