Senior Mental Health Clinician, Youth Brief Intervention Service (yBIS) - Eastern Suburbs Mental Health Service
Employment Type: Temporary Part Time until June 2026

Remuneration: $55.10 - $67.83 per hour, plus superannuation

Are you a senior mental health clinician experienced in working with youth who loves working with a multidisciplinary team helping young consumers on their mental health journey to recovery? We would welcome your application to join our Youth Brief Intervention Service (yBIS) team helping the young and vulnerable.
If you are an overseas qualified Social Worker, you are required to have your qualifications assessed by the AASW to meet the position criteria.

Selection Criteria:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA with at least (5) years post registration experience within Mental Health and has approved post registration nursing qualifications relevant to the field or such other qualifications or experience deemed appropriate/Qualifications in Social Work, eligible for membership of an appropriate professional body/Qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA/Fully registered Psychologist with AHPRA with a Masters degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology or some other recognised clinical area in psychology that the employer deems relevant to the functions of the position.
- Demonstrated experience in assessment, care planning, staff management and coordination with mental health experience & experience in community youth mental health or related areas.
- Proven clinical leadership skills with expertise in client-centred consultancy and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in clinical practice.
- Demonstrated effective communication and inter-personal skills across a variety of mediums and an understanding of the practice development framework.
- Proven ability to implement changes and develop direction in clinical practice by the utilisation of evidence based research.
- Demonstrated skills in strategic and clinical service planning including an understanding of organisational behaviour, change management and cultural change processes.
- Demonstrated skills in clinical teaching, competency in the use of contemporary information systems and experience in the development of specialty education programs.
- A current NSW Driver's Licence
