About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Sales Assistant to join our team at Tuckett's Tyrepower Cranbourne. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the overall operations of our busy retail store. This position is based in our Cranbourne, VIC 3977 location.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and assisting customers with their tyre and automotive product needs

Demonstrating product features and benefits to help customers make informed purchasing decisions

Processing sales transactions accurately and efficiently

Maintaining store cleanliness and visual merchandising standards

Restocking and replenishing product displays as required

Providing a high level of customer service to build loyalty and encourage repeat business

Collaborating with the wider team to achieve store sales and customer service targets

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably within the automotive industry

A minimum of 2+ years retail or customer service experience is required for this position

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide friendly and helpful assistance to customers

Strong numeracy skills and the ability to handle cash and point-of-sale systems accurately

A keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain high standards of presentation and organisation

A positive, enthusiastic and team-oriented attitude

Willingness to learn about our products and services to provide informed recommendations to customers

Australian citizenship or permanent residency is essential for this role
