What you’ll actually do

Work on boutique projects, offering a full range of installation services.

Work with high quality materials where perfection is strived for in all work.

Paving with a variety of high quality materials, automated irrigation install and repairs, soil conditioning, lawn installations, wooden screening, planting, limestone block works, welding, corten steel garden edging, steppers and crazy paving.

Metrics for success are based on quality not quantity. You will be an integral part of job success and efficiency within Illuminate Gardens, ensuring tasks are completed to the highest standard, always.

What we are offering you:

$35 - $50/hr on offer + Superannuation

Flexible work weeks with option to work 4 or 5 day weeks. (38 - 40hr weeks)

Long term job stability with permanent full time position, including full entitlements

Optional over time and weekend work available but not expected

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure the safety of job site, self, general public and your team at all times

Ensuring high standards of work are met on all occasions (quality control)

Clear communication, reporting to Kale, Clare and team mates

Accurately follow plans and project run sheets

Provide reliable and quality service

General upkeep of equipment and tools

The ideal applicant has:

Worked cohesively within a team environment

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

Confident and competent handling a range of powered and non powered tools. Their basic upkeep and safe practices

Obsessed with the details - this is a must

Hold a valid, manual drivers licence

Certificate in Landscape Construction (cert III) or equivalent and/or a minimum of 5 years industry experience

Experience with a variety of irrigation systems, laying steppers, paving and softscaping

Hardworking and motivated

Familiar with gardening tasks ie, hedging, topiary, lawn mowing, pruning

Experience driving with a trailer preferred but not required

Passionate about helping clients achieve great outcomes

Team oriented individual - Proactive, positive, friendly and helpful personality is a non negotiable
