The Role
This Senior Bookkeeping position will see you working closely with directors, accountants and clients. You’ll oversee end-to-end bookkeeping, compliance lodgements, and payroll while also providing support and guidance to junior staff. This is a hands-on role where your input will be valued and your career development supported.

Your Responsibilities

End-to-end bookkeeping across companies, trusts and sole traders

Preparation and lodgement of BAS, IAS, STP and superannuation

Payroll processing and reconciliations

Reviewing work of junior bookkeepers and mentoring as required

Liaising with clients and providing guidance on accounting systems

Working with Xero (and other cloud systems as required)

About You

3–5+ years bookkeeping experience, ideally in a public practice setting

Xero proficiency essential (Xero Payroll / Advisor certification desirable)

Strong knowledge of payroll, GST, BAS, IAS and compliance obligations

Strong communicator, confident working directly with clients

A team-oriented mindset and pride in producing accurate, high-quality work
