Due to continuous growth, we are currently seeking an experienced and licensed Electrician to join our team in a Full-Time position for a start in the new year.

Experience

We are looking for a motivated individual with a background that showcases a deep understanding of commercial/industrial electrical systems in particular maintenance & breakdown repairs. This could be highlighted by any of the following experiences:

Working on commercial / industrial electrical systems,

Switchboard manufacturing,

Preventative maintenance / fault finding,

Planned maintenance

The Role

Thermal Scanners has a diligent internal training program to ensure all staff are trained, competent and confident in their roles. As the technician you will be trained to carry out detailed thermal inspections of in-use electrical equipment on our client's sites, complete thermal analysis and generate an insurance compliant report with the assistance and support from Head Office.

Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

Perform thermal inspections of all electrical equipment

Perform detailed visual inspections of the equipment

Accurately capture and record data onsite

Complete thermal image analysis and report generation

Comply with all WHS policies & procedures, including completion of job safety analysis and risk assessments

Meet all daily and weekly KPIs

Occasional RCD testing

Potential HV testing

Minor LV repairs as identified from previous inspections

Please note: Travel will be an extensive part of this role, daily travel and food allowance will be paid for all required travel! Travel is estimated to be at maximum 12 trips per year.

Qualifications

It is a requirement that you have the following Qualifications/Licences or the ability to obtain if requested:

Unrestricted Electrical Licence (Mandatory)

Drivers License (Mandatory)

First Aid Certificate, including CPR and LVR

National Police Clearance (or ability to obtain)

Working with Children's card (or ability to obtain)

White Card
