ABOUT THE ROLE

Seeking a fully qualified Diesel Mechanic to join a small team in Sebastopol, South Australia. Will suit someone that is after a great work life balance.

If you possess great attention to detail, excellent communication skills and genuinely take pride in yourself and your work, then this position is for you.

Full time role | Weekend work only during busy periods

Salary negotiable based on experience

Reporting to the business manager only

Agricultural machinery experience an advantage

Duties:

Oversee the general day to day running of the workshop

Training apprentices

Diagnosing and troubleshooting problems

Servicing and repairing a variety of agricultural machinery

Practice sound knowledge of workshop procedures

Proficient with electrical and CANBUS systems

Understanding of GPS/Guidance Systems

Liase with customers to schedule work loads

Completing service reports in a timely manner

Oversee and ensure OH&S/WHS compliance with staff and the workshop

Inspect and sign off on vehicles which have been serviced/repaired

SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS

Fully qualified as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic

Valid Australian working rights

Full Driver's License

MR and/or forklift License an advantage

Available for long-term permanent position

Exceptional diagnostic skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
