The Position
As an Occupational Therapist, you’ll play a vital role in helping students thrive both in the classroom and beyond, making an impact across the Catholic Education community in the Northern Territory. Your top priority will be collaborating with schools, families, and community agencies to enhance students’ occupational performance and participation.
Key Responsibilities
As an Occupational Therapist, you will:
Provide consultative and clinical support to schools, using a Response to Intervention (RtI) approach to guide strategies across handwriting, sensory processing, movement, daily living skills, assistive technology, and curriculum access.
Lead professional development and coaching to build the skills and confidence of school staff and Inclusion Support Services colleagues.
Support the design and implementation of inclusive programs, sensory spaces, and adjustments to meet the needs of all students.
Conduct assessments, prepare high-quality reports, and maintain accurate records to inform evidence-based interventions and Educational Adjustment Plans.
Collaborate with schools, community agencies, and stakeholders to promote inclusion and best-practice strategies.

About you
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist who:
Holds a degree in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) and is registered with AHPRA.
Has experience in assessing and supporting school-age children, with the ability to tailor interventions to meet diverse student needs.
Holds a valid Northern Territory Driver’s Licence and a current Ochre Card.
